Parc Astérix – Inauguration of Toutatis
Inaugural show with flames and special effects – daytime
For the official opening of the Toutatis attraction at Parc Astérix, ARTEVENTIA was commissioned to orchestrate the inaugural moment, marked by a series of daytime special effects.
The context was unique: this production did not follow the logic of nighttime and grand pyrotechnic displays, but rather a short, spectacular, and perfectly coordinated performance during a ceremony attended by the press and fans. With precise timing, flames, jets, and other special effects were integrated into a key moment of the presentation, emphasizing the immersive and spectacular nature of the new area.
Designed for daytime, this creation leveraged the depth of the site and the surrounding architecture of the attraction. The effects were synchronized with precision timing to the speeches, the arrival of guests, and the official launch, creating an immediately striking visual moment without the need for nighttime lighting.
This inaugural moment – brief, powerful, and rhythmic – conveyed the identity of the Toutatis attraction: an energetic, dynamic, and resolutely immersive experience. Designed for an audience present both physically and through media, the visual composition served as the highlight of this opening day.
