Rambouillet Lily of the Valley Festival: 10,000 spectators gathered for the ARTEVENTIA show
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Rambouillet Lily of the Valley Festival brought together nearly 10,000 spectators in the exceptional setting of the Château park, at the Rondeau site, for an evening marked by tradition, celebration, and wonder.
A must-see highlight of spring in Rambouillet, the Lily of the Valley Festival celebrated its 97th edition this year, with a program combining a funfair, entertainment, a flower parade, the crowning of the Lily of the Valley Queen, and a pyrotechnic show. The local press notably recalled the importance of this tradition, born in 1906 and deeply rooted in the city’s identity.
An evening of tradition in the heart of the Château park
The evening began with the crowning of Émilie Jacquet, elected Lily of the Valley Queen 2026, accompanied by her runners-up Sacha Turlure and Sarah Bouziat. A symbolic moment, eagerly awaited by the people of Rambouillet, which perpetuates a strong local tradition centered on representing the city and its youth.
In this setting steeped in history, ARTEVENTIA then presented a pyrotechnic and musical show designed around the Rondeau pond. The creation aligned with the 2026 theme of the Lily of the Valley Festival: board games and video games, a playful, popular, and intergenerational universe that guided the show’s visual and musical writing.
A spectacular setup around the pond
To accompany this major public gathering, ARTEVENTIA devised a specific setup around and on the pond, with more than 20 firing positions distributed to create a panoramic viewing experience of the show.
This configuration made it possible to work with depth, symmetry, reflections, and perspective effects specific to the Rondeau site. The pond thus became a true performance space, where pyrotechnics, music, flames, and light interacted throughout the creation.
More than 5,000 firing cues were required to orchestrate this show, combining:
- pyrotechnic effects,
- flame generators,
- lighting projectors,
- synchronized musical sequences.
The objective: to offer an immersive, precise, and festive experience, capable of bringing together young and old in the same surge of emotion.
A creation of energy, rhythm, and wonder
Conceived as a total show, this event combined the power of the fireworks, the impact of the flames, and the finesse of the lighting atmospheres.
The games theme made it possible to explore different registers: anticipation, challenge, surprise, competition, nostalgia, victory. All of these notions were translated into pyrotechnic scenes, changes of pace, bold colors, and dynamic sequences.
In the skies over Rambouillet, each effect extended the music and reinforced the visual storytelling. Around the pond, reflections amplified the images, giving the show a dimension that was both monumental and poetic.
A major public highlight for ARTEVENTIA
With nearly 10,000 spectators gathered in the Château park, this evening will remain one of the highlights of the 2026 season for ARTEVENTIA.
Taking part in the Rambouillet Lily of the Valley Festival means becoming part of a shared history, a strong local tradition, and a deeply unifying event. It also means putting our expertise at the service of a family-oriented, popular, and discerning audience, who came to share a festive moment in the heart of the city.
ARTEVENTIA thanks the City of Rambouillet for its trust, as well as all the teams mobilized to ensure the success of this evening.
