When the sky becomes a stage<\/h2>\n

Night has fallen over Lake Annecy. Along the shores, thousands of spectators wait in silence for the music to signal the beginning of the show. In the darkness, the firing systems are ready. Just a few more seconds, and the sky will ignite. <\/p>\n

For \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire, these suspended moments are always special. Behind the few minutes of spectacle the audience is about to discover lie weeks of reflection, writing and preparation. \u2728 <\/p>\n

Founder and Artistic Director of ARTEVENTIA, he has been creating pyrotechnic shows for more than twenty years, presented at major public events and international festivals. For him, fireworks go far beyond a simple technical display. <\/p>\n

A vocation born from passion and meaningful encounters<\/h2>\n

Originally from the Paris region, \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire developed a fascination for fireworks at a very early age. As is often the case in this singular profession, entering the field comes above all through passion and encounters. <\/p>\n

In the early 2000s, he met experienced pyrotechnicians who encouraged him to learn the craft. In 2003, he began working in pyrotechnics and gradually discovered the technical and artistic demands of the discipline. <\/p>\n

For nearly ten years, he trained within two recognized companies in the sector. He first worked for eight years at F\u00eates & Feux<\/strong>, before joining Ruggieri<\/strong>, one of France’s oldest pyrotechnic companies. <\/p>\n

These years provided a true hands-on education, where he discovered all facets of the profession: technical preparation, firing programming, and visual storytelling for shows.<\/p>\n

The first emotions of the profession<\/h2>\n

Throughout these years of apprenticeship, \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire participated in numerous shows and gradually developed his own artistic sensibility.<\/p>\n

Among the moments that marked his beginnings was a fireworks display in Paris in 2007<\/strong>, which he considers one of the first major milestones of his career.<\/p>\n

He also designed one of his first significant shows in his hometown of Domont<\/strong>, a foundational experience where he discovered the collective emotion a pyrotechnic show can evoke.<\/p>\n

In 2008<\/strong>, he also participated in the August 15th show in Royan<\/strong>, an emblematic event of the summer season.<\/p>\n

These experiences gradually solidified his conviction: a fireworks display must be conceived as a show in its own right.<\/p>\n

The birth of ARTEVENTIA<\/h2>\n

At the end of 2012, after nearly a decade of experience in pyrotechnics, \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire wanted to explore a more personal approach to creation.<\/p>\n

With Pierre Legrand<\/strong>, they shared the same desire for independence and artistic ambition: to imagine shows where pyrotechnics would not only be spectacular but truly narrative.<\/p>\n

In February 2013<\/strong>, they co-founded ARTEVENTIA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The company gradually positioned itself as a creative house specializing in shows blending pyrotechnics, music, and scenography, with a particular focus on the visual storytelling of the performances.<\/p>\n

A theatrical pyrotechnic writing style<\/h2>\n

Over the years, \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire has developed a recognizable artistic signature.<\/p>\n

His approach is deliberately theatrical and choreographic<\/strong>: shows are constructed as successive tableaux where pyrotechnic effects interact with music and contribute to a dramatic progression.<\/p>\n

Each explosion becomes a gesture in space, each color an emotion.<\/p>\n

For him, music often forms the starting point of creation, outlining the show’s structure and guiding its visual narrative.<\/p>\n

The continuous search for new effects<\/h2>\n

Behind every show also lies work often invisible to the public: the choice of the fireworks themselves.<\/p>\n

\u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire pays particular attention to the selection of products used. The colors, the burst of the shells, or the density of the effects directly contribute to the visual storytelling of the show. <\/p>\n

Over the years, he has forged close ties with several European manufacturers, including the Italian companies Panzera Fireworks<\/strong><\/a> and Parente Fireworks<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

He regularly travels to Italy to meet the teams, discover new effects, and discuss the creative possibilities offered by new productions.<\/p>\n

More than simple suppliers, these manufacturers have become true partners, and often friends, over time.<\/p>\n

In a profession where passion remains an essential driving force, this human dimension is fundamental.<\/p>\n
