On June 22, 2025, Chambord Castle once again changes its register. After Sting in 2022, Imagine Dragons in 2023, and David Guetta in 2024, Chambord Live welcomes the Black Eyed Peas<\/strong> for its fourth edition. The event is sold out, with 30,000 tickets sold in minutes, confirming its place among the major musical events of the summer. <\/p>\n In such a context, the question for ARTEVENTIA is not simply to ‘put on a firework display’ at the end of the concert. It is about extending what happened on stage, preserving the live energy, accompanying the final notes, and creating an image capable of transitioning the audience from a concert to a true spectacle finale. <\/p>\n “A concert finale must arrive at the right moment, with the right energy. It cannot give the impression that a new show is beginning once the artist has finished. On the contrary, the audience must feel a sense of continuity,” explains \u00c9douard Gr\u00e9goire, ARTEVENTIA’s artistic director.<\/p>\n This continuity is all the more important at Chambord because the venue demands an exceptional visual presence. The castle is not a neutral backdrop. Its silhouette, its volumes, its towers, and its integration into the landscape immediately give another dimension to any image produced in front of it. <\/p>\n The fire must therefore compose with the architecture rather than seek to compete with it.<\/p>\n “At Chambord, one cannot conceive of the sky independently of the castle. It is there, immense, identifiable, almost already scenographically composed by itself. Our work consists of finding the right scale for the finale to engage with it without ever overshadowing it.”<\/p>\n This constraint also becomes an opportunity. The monumentality of the site offers a natural setting in which openings, heights, and rhythms can take on a particular dimension. Some effects accentuate the castle’s verticality, while others broaden the stage and give the concert a final visual breath. <\/p>\n Pyrotechnics then become an extension of the music.<\/p>\n Not an autonomous demonstration.<\/p>\n Not a mere grand finale.<\/p>\n But a final sequence designed to further elevate the emotion after several tens of minutes of concert.<\/p>\n The Black Eyed Peas, with their blend of hip-hop, pop, and electro, bring a very direct, rhythmic, and immediately recognizable energy. This musical material naturally demands a vibrant, precise composition, capable of accompanying accelerations and changes in intensity without saturating the space. <\/p>\n “For a concert of this nature, we work extensively on the sensation of resurgence. The fire must be able to pick up a musical impulse, amplify it, and create a final collective crescendo.”<\/p>\n This way of working has become one of the strong pillars of ARTEVENTIA’s collaborations with major music productions. A concert already possesses its own dramaturgy, visual identity, codes, lights, and rhythm. The intervention cannot therefore be conceived separately. <\/p>\n It must integrate.<\/p>\n And sometimes know when to remain in the background until it becomes necessary.<\/p>\n This is precisely what distinguishes a pyrotechnic finale integrated into a live performance from a traditional fireworks display. The spectacle already exists. Pyrotechnics do not need to replace it; they must extend it. <\/p>\n At Chambord, this logic finds a particularly strong ground. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and is one of the most recognizable emblems of the French Renaissance.
