“Ode to the Moon”: the 2025 Annecy Fête du lac is revealed

The August 2, 2025, the Fête du lac d’Annecy, one of the largest pyrotechnic and aquatic shows in Europe, will make its grand return with an original creation entitled “Ode to the Moon”, designed by the French company ARTEVENTIA.
After a year’s hiatus in 2024, the event reunites with its audience with a new visual and musical scenography designed to enhance the unique landscape of Annecy Bay. Between sky, water, and mountains, the creation promises a poetic immersion into the nocturnal universe.
A celebration of the sky and the night
With “Ode to the Moon”, the 2025 Fête du lac invites spectators on a sensory journey where the moon becomes the common thread of the show.
A universal source of inspiration, it guides the visual and musical narrative through a succession of scenes blending light, pyrotechnics, and contemporary rhythms.
The show plays with contrasts: suspended moments, luminous flights, and choreographic compositions in the sky. The whole is designed as a visual fresco where each sequence dialogues with the lake and its natural environment.
A show designed for the Annecy site
The Fête du lac d’Annecy possesses a rare characteristic: the show unfolds on the water itself, facing a natural amphitheater formed by the shores and the mountains.

The artistic direction of this edition is entrusted to ARTEVENTIA, a French company specializing in the design of large-scale visual and pyrotechnic shows.
The show is based on precise scenographic writing, blending musical dramaturgy, contemporary pyrotechnic effects, and light staging. The objective: to create a collective experience where the audience is carried away by the rhythm and the imagery.
